This statement of PM Modi can also be considered a message for US President Donald Trump. In fact, Trump is constantly claiming that he has stopped military conflict between India and Pakistan by threatening to stop trade. Whereas, the Government of India has denied Trump’s claim wrong. India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had clearly stated that the DGMO of Pakistan had requested to stop military action. After which India postponed Operation Sindoor. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal has also said the same on media questions. The DGMO of the Indian Army Rajiv Ghai also clearly stated that it was the DGMO of Pakistan to call to stop military action.
It is clear from PM Modi’s Thursday’s statement that Pakistan will no longer be able to escape by saying that it has nothing to do with the terrorist attacks in India. Along with this, it was also clear that after postponing the Indus River Agreement, India will now use its right water. Till now Pakistan was taking great advantage of the Indus River Agreement. He was getting 80 percent water. Modi also made it clear that whenever there is talk with Pakistan, it will be on the return of PoK and the issue of terrorism. Whereas, Pakistan has been continuously curbing that if the Indus River Agreement was canceled, it would be considered a war announcement.
