PM Modi will flag off 3 Vande Bharat trains

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three new Vande Bharat trains today. PM Modi will launch Vande Bharat Express trains to enhance rail connectivity in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. These three trains will join the network of more than 100 Vande Bharat Express trains currently operating, connecting more than 280 districts.

These are the three Vande Bharat trains

Prime Minister Modi will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains through video conferencing. One of these Vande Bharat trains will go from Chennai Central to Nagercoil, the second from Madurai to Bengaluru Cantt and the third from Meerut City to Lucknow.

Chennai Central to Nagercoil Vande Bharat Train

The Vande Bharat train to Nagercoil will initially depart from Chennai Central, but it will run regularly from Chennai Egmore. It will run daily except Wednesdays. This Vande Bharat train service will facilitate pilgrims to travel to Divya Arulmighu Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai and Kumari Amman Temple, Kanyakumari.

The train will pass through these stations

Train number 20627 will leave Chennai Egmore at 5 am and reach Nagercoil at 1:50 pm. During this time it will stop at Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirapalli, Dindugal, Madurai, Kovilpatti and Tirunelveli. The return train (number 20628) will leave Nagercoil at 2:20 pm and reach Chennai at 11 pm.

Madurai to Bangalore Cantonment Vande Bharat Train

The Vande Bharat train between Madurai and Bengaluru Cantonment will run six days a week except Tuesday. This Vande Bharat service will connect the busy temple city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu to the metropolitan city of Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Train no. 20671 will leave Madurai at 5:15 am and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 1 pm, stopping at Dindugal, Tiruchirapalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Krishnarajapuram. On the return journey (train no. 20672), it will leave Bengaluru at 1:30 pm and reach Madurai at 9:45 pm.

Meerut City – Lucknow Vande Bharat Train

Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat train will start its regular service from Lucknow on Sunday and from Meerut on Monday. It will run six days a week except Tuesday. This Vande Bharat train is expected to boost religious tourism in the region by providing faster travel to pilgrimage sites such as Digambar Jain Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, Surajkund Temple and Aughadnath Temple. Train 22490 will leave Meerut City at 6:35 am and reach Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow at 1:45 pm. The train will stop at Moradabad and Bareilly. On the return journey (train no. 22489) the train will leave Charbagh Railway Station at 2:45 pm and reach Meerut City at 10:00 pm.
