Prime Minister Narendra Modi may inaugurate the rebellious Tripureshwari Temple in Gomti district of Tripura on 7 April. A minister of the Tripura government has given information about this. Let us know that the Tripureshwari temple is one of the 51 ‘Shakti Peethas’ of India. This temple has been re -developed at a cost of Rs 54 crore under the Central Government’s ‘Prasad’ (Prasad) scheme. Let’s know about this in detail.

What is Prasad Yojana?

Tripura Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy has said that PM Modi had approved the funds for the redevelopment of the Tripureshwari temple under the Prasad Yojana. The people of the state want them to inaugurate the temple. Explain that Prasad Yojana is a scheme of the Union Ministry of Tourism of the Union Government. The purpose of this scheme is to develop pilgrimage sites located in India.

CM Manik Saha invited PM Modi

Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy has informed that Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha met PM Modi in Delhi and invited him to inaugurate the temple. PM Modi had asked the CM to set a possible date for the inauguration of the temple and he would confirm it. The Finance Minister has said that the construction agency will hand over the rebelled temple by 20 March. The possible date for the inauguration of the temple has been fixed on 7 April.

What is the specialty of the temple?

According to the information given by the Tripura government, Maharaja Blessed Manikya founded the Tripura Sundari Temple in the year 1501. He brought a red black -colored stone -made Mata Tripura Sundari statue from Chittagong in Bangladesh and installed in this temple. This temple is considered one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of the country. Explain that Shakti Peeth is called where the body parts of Goddess Sati fell. It is believed that the right leg of Goddess Sati fell here during the orgy of Lord Shiva. (input language)
