New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Guru Ji Maharaj Temple at Anandpur Dham located in Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh. Modi also performed aarti by going to Anand Sarovar. After this, the PM addressed the public meeting there. Modi said, today the mind is overwhelmed by coming to Anandpur Dham, heart is filled with bliss. He said that service is a practice, there is a Ganges in which everyone should take a dip. The land of which every particle has been watered with the penance of saints, where Parmarth has become a tradition, where the resolve of service paves the path of welfare of humanity, that earth is not ordinary. Modi said, so our saints had said about Ashok Nagar that it is afraid of ‘mourning’ here.

PM said, I am happy that today I have got the privilege of attending the celebration of Baisakhi and Shri Guru Maharaj Ji’s incarnation day. I bow to the first Padshahi Sri Sri 108 Shri Swami Advatanand Ji Maharaj and other Padshahi saints on this holy occasion. Modi called the development of areas like Ashoknagar and Anandpur Dham a priority of the government. He said that these areas have given a lot to the country, now their development is our responsibility. Ashoknagar has received the boon of art, culture and natural beauty, where there is immense possibilities of development and heritage.

Modi said, when we connect with the resolve of service, we are not only doing good to others but the spirit of service enhances our personality, makes our thinking wide. Service removes us from individual circles and connects us with the great objectives of society, nation and humanity. We learn to work together together for service. We understand different aspects of life. We learn this in a very easy way to fight and conquer it, serve it.
