New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today distributed appointment letters to more than 71 thousand youth across the country under the employment fair. During this, PM Modi addressed the youth present in the employment fair program organized in different states of the country through video conferencing. He said, today is a new beginning in your life. Your years of hard work have been successful. This year of 2024 is going to give new happiness to you and your family, I congratulate all of you. For the last 10 years, a campaign to provide government jobs has been going on in various ministries, departments and institutions of the government. Even today, appointment letters have been given to more than 71000 youth. In the last one and a half year, about 10 lakh youth have been given government jobs, this is a record in itself.

Modi said, no previous government has given permanent jobs to the youth in mission mode like this. Today lakhs of youth are not only getting government jobs, but these jobs are being given with complete honesty and transparency. Today, thousands of daughters have also been given appointment letters. Your success will inspire other women. Our effort is that women should become self-reliant in every field. The PM said that late last night I returned from Kuwait, where I had extensive discussions and interactions with young Indians and professionals. Now, after returning here, my first program is with the youth of the country. This is indeed a very happy coincidence. Today is a new beginning for thousands of youth like you, your dreams of years have come true and your hard work has paid off.
