New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the International Telecommunication Union – World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) 2024 at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. During this, the Prime Minister drew attention to the increasing cyber threats in today’s digital era and appealed to the global community to unite against it. We need to establish dos and don’ts for technology on a global scale. India’s Data Protection Act and National Cyber Security Strategy reflect our commitment towards building a secure digital ecosystem. I urge Members of this House to set standards that are inclusive, safe and fit for every future challenge. Create global standards for ethical AI and data privacy that respect the diversity of countries.
