New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi gave his address in the Lok Sabha today. Referring to Mahakumbh, Modi said, the whole world saw the great form of India as Mahakumbh. This is the nature of everyone’s effort. This was a Mahakumbh inspired by the reverence of Janata Janardan, for the resolutions of Janata Janardhana. In Mahakumbh, we have seen the great vision of awakening of our national consciousness. I salute the people of the country, due to which Mahakumbh was successfully concluded. Many people played a role in Mahakumbh’s success. I thank all the Karmayogis of the government and the society.

Modi said, many nectar have come out of Mahakumbh. The nectar of unity is its sacred offerings. Mahakumbh has been an event in which people from the corner of the country have become one. Keeping his ego edge, he has come united in Prayagraj, not ‘I’, but with the spirit of ‘we’. People from different states have become part of the sacred Triveni. When millions of people from different regions strengthen the spirit of nationality, the unity of the country increases. When people speaking different language raise the slogan of ‘Har Har Gange’ on the banks of Sangam, it reflects the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ and enhances the spirit of unity.

The Prime Minister said, Mahakumbh has inspired us in many ways. There are many small and big rivers in our country and many of them are facing crisis. Taking inspiration from Kumbh, we should expand the tradition of river festival. We must think about this, because this will help the current generation understand the importance of water. This will strengthen the cleaning and safety efforts of our rivers. Today, the youth of India is proudly adopting their traditions, faith and beliefs.
