There is a possibility that a big action plan against terrorists and Pakistan was finalized in this meeting. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has recently returned after visiting Srinagar. There he held a meeting with senior officials of Border Security Force and officials of other security agencies there. After returning from there, he and CDS have held a meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. 26 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam. People across the country are angry about this attack.
After the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned the terrorists in clear terms that such punishment would be given which would not have been imagined. Modi had said that this attack is a attack on every citizen of the country, not any one person. In the 121st episode of the Mann Ki Baat program on Sunday, Modi, while referring to the Pahalgam attack, once again assured the victim families that they will definitely get justice. Modi had said that the people who have carried out the Pahalgam attack and those who have supported them will find out from any end of the earth.
