New Delhi. After the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrullah in an Israeli attack, the arrangements have been tightened in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, in view of the Friday prayers. The police as well as the entire administrative staff are on alert mode in view of the protest by Namazis against Israel or any untoward incident. Lucknow’s Joint Commissioner (Law and Order) Amit Verma said, today is a Friday, the main namaz is held on Friday, in view of this the entire system has been put on alert.

The Joint Commissioner said, it has been seen that there is an atmosphere of sadness among the people due to international developments. Full care is being taken to ensure that there are no demonstrations on the roads. Police is on alert mode, we are keeping a close watch on the situation. Navratri has started, now festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, Chhath will come. In view of this, many campaigns have been started. The firecracker license checking campaign will run for 7 days. Adequate force has also been deployed for Ramlila. In view of the festivals, women police have also been deployed at various places.
Let us tell you that people of Shia community are mourning after the death of Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah. Markets were also kept closed in some areas of Lucknow recently. Some people protested by hoisting black flags above their houses. On Monday night, Israel was protested by taking out a candle march in Karbala Talkatora area of Lucknow. Maulana Kalbe Jawad also expressed grief over Nasrallah’s death and called it an irreparable loss. Maulana Jawad had said that Nasrullah will always be alive in the hearts of the people. Their martyrdom will not go in vain and Israel will soon be destroyed. During this period, the protesters also raised slogans opposing America.
