The colors of the world’s largest cultural and religious fair that takes place every twelve years for centuries
According to religious pundits-priests, this time the coincidence of rare Muhurta is coming in Mahakumbh after 144 years. It is estimated that 45 to 50 crore devotees will come from the whole world for one and a half months in the temporary Mahakumbh Nagar along the Ganges and Yamuna. On Mauni Amavasya itself, 8 to 10 crore devotees can take a dip in the holy confluence. 5 to 6 crore devotees are expected to take a dip on Basant Panchami and 3 crore on Makar Sankranti. Mahakumbh Mela, which started on 13 January Paush Purnima, will run till Mahashivratri on 26 February. There are 44 pucca bathing ghats in the fair situated on 10,000 acres. About 25 to 30 lakh devotees will do Kalpavas. Camps of all the akharas and ascetics of the country have been decorated.
Establishment of Dharma Flag
Dharma flag was established in the Acharya camp of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri of Niranjani Akhara. He said that Mahakumbh is a symbol of the splendor of Sanatan Dharma. It has a philosophy of eternal culture and civilization. India’s existence rests on this. It is the biggest event of public welfare, not religious.
Tight transport system
Crores of people of the country have to come for bath, in such a situation about 3,000 special trains have been run for the devotees. People will come on a large scale from the states adjacent to Uttar Pradesh, so the Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has started operating more than 7,000 buses. Fleet of 500 shuttle buses and 300 electric buses within the city of Prayagraj is ready to serve the devotees. Roads of 550 km Chakai plates, one and a half million tents and as many toilets have been installed.
Foreign devotees in Kumbh Nagar
About 50 acres of the fair have 103 parking sites, which have a capacity to park seven lakh vehicles. If someone comes from his vehicle, shuttle buses will be ready for him. These buses will take people to a certain distance from Sangam so that no person has trouble reaching there.
Foreign tourist
45 crore tourists are expected to come from about 75 countries in Mahakumbh. Tour and travel operators claim that people from many countries of Europe, including America, have booked for Mahakumbh. More than 500 big tour operators from many countries of Europe contacted the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The Indian Association of Tour operators are monitoring the fair.
People associated with the hotel industry agree, then luxury rooms are the highest demand. People from Muslim countries like United Arab Emirates, Bahrain are also willing to come from America, Britain and France. In the 2019 Ardghkumbh, 24 crore people took a bath, while the number of foreign pilgrims was around 2.5 million.
Tight security arrangements
State DGP Prashant Kumar himself has taken stock of the preparations for the fair many times. The DGP has inspected the boat and other ghats from the boat and directed the policemen to maintain vigilance and readiness to prevent any untoward incident. Policemen have also been asked to sensitively and behave with devotees.
A security cycle has been made around Prayagraj by combining the seven routes connecting the district Prayagraj and the districts falling on those routes and the border districts. Arrangements have also been made for checking vehicles and individuals coming from eight districts. During the entire fair period, 10 types of security operations will also be carried out, so that the devotees feel the security at every step. For security, the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to other state -of -the -art resources is being taken. Intelligence units are keeping a close watch to keep a close watch on terrorist activities.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath monitoring all the system
NSG Commando Mustaid with state -of -the -art weapons like MP5, AK 47, Corner Shot Gun, Glok 17. NDRF teams are continuously mock drills to deal with the situation of chemical attack. The Air Force Mi-7 helicopter has also been deployed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been taking stock of preparations at various levels for the last several months. Awareness of rights
Setups have also been prepared for the Bar Council including Lokayukta, Information Commissioner’s Cottage along with Judge Colony. There will be a judge, Lokayukta, Information Commissioner and Advocate for 45 days here. Justice will be given to people about every aspect related to the right to information. Free legal aid centers for devotees have been set up in Mahakumbh. The High Court Bar Association has launched a camp near Khoya-Paya Center in Sector-4.
Continuous bhandara
A continuous Bhandara will remain for about one and a half months from the Peethadhishwar of Gorakhnath. This will be run by big monasteries associated with Bhandara Nath sect. The entire cost of this will be borne by Gorakhnath Math. In the Kumbh at all places, Bhandara continues to run on behalf of Gorakshpeethadhishwar and thousands of devotees receive prasad of Bhandare every day.
Inauguration of Kumbhwani
Prasar Bharati’s FM channel Kumbhwani has been launched in Mahakumbh Nagar. Through this, information about Mahakumbh will be conveyed to those remote villages, from where people are unable to reach even if they want. This channel connected to Mahakumbh will air on 103.5 MHz frequency, which will remain on air till 26 February. Its broadcast will start from 5.55 am and will run for 10:05 pm.
