Officials said on Monday that there was a huge crowd in the world’s largest human conference, Mahakumbh 2025, and in the first 36 days more than 540 million devotees have taken a holy dip.
According to official data, more than 13.5 million devotees participated in this grand religious event by 8 pm on 17 February, 2025, which would prove to be another important milestone in the 45 -day spiritual conference.

A large crowd of devotees was seen at Prayagraj railway station on Monday. Police officers were constantly cautious to control the huge crowd.
GP Singh, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, on Sunday, reviewed the security system for the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj and also appreciated how the Uttar Pradesh Police, CRPF and all other agencies are ‘good coordination’.
The X account of CRPF mentions, “DG GP Singh in Prayagraj assessed security arrangements for Mahakumbh and guided the CRPF officials about balanced vigilance with uninterrupted public assistance.”

During the Mahakumbh Mela, the Northern Railway has decided to run four special trains for the smooth journey of devotees and passengers in the backdrop of the stampede at New Delhi railway station recently, and in the backdrop of a stampede at New Delhi railway station.
The Central Railway has also announced the operation of four special trains for pilgrims going to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh.
