He said that the aim of the state government is to end the terror of Naxalites and connect these areas with the mainstream of development.

What did CM Vishnudev say?

Referring to the recent major Naxal operation in the border area of Narayanpur-Dantewada district, Chief Minister Sai said, “Today our security forces have achieved great success against the Maoists. So far, information has been received that 28 Naxalites have been killed in the search operation. This is the biggest Naxal operation so far in Chhattisgarh. For this I congratulate our brave soldiers and salute their indomitable courage.” He further said, “The clear aim of our government is to completely eliminate Naxalism. Under the double engine government, we are not only dealing strictly with the Maoists in the Naxal affected areas, but are also rapidly completing the development works in those areas. The Chief Minister said, “We appeal to the Maoists to leave the path of violence and join the mainstream of development. Continuous development work is being done by the government in Naxal affected areas. Roads, electricity, water and health facilities are being provided, so that the standard of living of the people can be improved.” In this meeting to be chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, special cooperation will also be sought from the Center to further accelerate the development works in Naxal affected areas of Chhattisgarh.

I congratulate him for his achievement. The state government is fully committed to taking this struggle against Naxalism to its final conclusion.” The Chief Minister said that we have also received full support from Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah in this ongoing fight against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh.
