Gurugram, Haryana—Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) plans to build a new Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Gurugram. Under this project, this township will be developed on three thousand acres of land near Pachgaon Chowk.
The process for this new IMT is planned to start from the new year. HSIIDC has prepared a plan to develop plots of different sizes for industries here. After estimating the expenditure, the scheme will be sent to the government for permission. Once permission is received, the process of auctioning plots for new industries will be taken forward.
Three townships have already been developed in Gurugram district—in Udyog Vihar, Manesar and Sohna. This new township will be the fourth industrial hub of the district, where industrialists will get various opportunities. HSIIDC aims to create separate industrial model townships to promote industries in every district.
This development is expected to not only empower Gurugram economically but also generate new employment opportunities in the area. This initiative can highlight new possibilities for industries in the future.
