Many leaders including the country’s President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi have greeted everyone on the revival day of Jesus Christ, symbol of sacrifice and compassion.
President Murmu said that the teachings of Jesus Christ inspire humanity to follow the path of love and sacrifice. Giving wishes in his post on social media platform X, he wrote, “Congratulations to all of Easter! On this occasion we celebrate the revival of Jesus Christ. This festival inspires the new hope and feeling of new beginnings. The teachings of Jesus inspire humanity to walk on the path of love and sacrifice. This festival of hope and joy has brought peace and prosperity.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people on Easter and wished on Sunday that this holy opportunity should inspire everyone for hope, renewal and compassion. PM Modi said in a post on ‘X’, “Happy Easter to all. This is easter special, because ‘Jubilee Year’ is being celebrated with great enthusiasm around the world. “He said,” This holy opportunity gives inspiration to hope, renovation and compassion in every person. There should be pleasure and harmony all around. ”
‘Jubilee Year’ is a period of 25 years which is declared by the Pope as a special time of grace, forgiveness and spiritual renovation.
On the day of Good Friday, Lord Jesus Christ was crucified but he was again alive on Sunday. This day is known as Easter.
