On Monday, the country’s first citizen President Draupadi Murmu took a bath in Triveni Sangam on the holy Dhara Mahakumbh city of Tirtharaj. President Murmu took a dip of faith in Triveni Sangam in Sangam Nose.
The President will spend more than eight hours in the city, experienced the spiritual and cultural significance of the event. With Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, President Murmu started his day from Triveni Sangam. The President gave a strong foundation to Sanatan faith by taking a dip of faith in the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and mythological Saraswati rivers. After taking a holy bath in Prayagraj, Telangana minister and Congress leader Comatirddi Venkat Reddy said that “… I feel blessed by coming here. This opportunity has come after 144 years. President fed grain to migratory birds at Sangam
President Draupadi Murmu fed the migratory birds at Triveni Sangam. UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel are also present.
After the holy bath, the President will see and worship the eternal life in Sanatan culture and offer prayers to the revered Akshayavat tree. This tree holds a deep place in Hinduism, it is mentioned as a symbol of immortality and divine presence in ancient scriptures. She will also go to the major big Hanuman temple to pray for the prosperity and welfare of the country.
