Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the people of Himachal Pradesh on the foundation day of the state. After independence, Himachal Pradesh was formed as a province in 1948, including many princely states.
Modi said on ‘X’ that ‘Devbhoomi’ is famous for its glorious culture and people here are known for their hard work and courage.
He wished the prosperity of the people and good health and continuous development of the state.
‘Himachal Day’ is celebrated on 15 April, while the province was given full state status on 25 January 1971.
