Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished ‘World Radio Day’ on Thursday and said that this medium of communication has been an eternal lifestyle to inform, motivate and connect people.
The Prime Minister also invited people for the latest link of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to be aired from All India Radio on the last Sunday of this month.
Every year on 13 February, ‘World Radio Day’ is celebrated. This day is celebrated with the aim of encouraging policy-makers to increase awareness in general public and news mediums about the importance of radio and to provide information through radio.
