New Delhi. During the public meeting held in Bokaro today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly attacked Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress and said that these parties are proving to be a big obstacle in the development of Jharkhand. He appealed to the public to beware of the conspiracies of Congress and JMM and support BJP to make Jharkhand prosperous. PM Modi said, “If we remain united, we will be safe,” and urged the public to bring BJP to power keeping in mind the call of Roti-Beti-Maati.
Strict comment on opponents of development
Prime Minister Modi targeted those leaders who have been opposing the formation of Jharkhand. He mentioned only Rs 80,000 crore given to Jharkhand by the Congress government during 2004-2014, whereas the present BJP government has given assistance of Rs 3,00,000 crore to Jharkhand in the last 10 years. The PM said that BJP is committed to improving Jharkhand, where every citizen gets facilities like permanent house, road, electricity, water, treatment, education, and irrigation.
Allegations of sand smuggling and corruption
The Prime Minister accused JMM and Congress leaders of earning crores of rupees from sand smuggling. He said that these leaders are robbing the rights of the people of Jharkhand. Modi said, “Your money will be spent only for you,” and promised that the corrupt would be punished severely if the BJP-NDA government is formed.

Emphasis on development plans
The Prime Minister mentioned the road, railway, and airport construction works in Jharkhand. He promised to start air service in Bokaro soon. Modi said that after the formation of BJP government in Jharkhand, every small railway station in the state will be equipped with modern facilities and employment will be created by restarting closed factories.
Assurance of action against paper leak mafia
PM Modi said that paper leak mafia and recruitment mafia have become active during the JMM-Congress rule. He assured to put in jail those who are playing with the future of the youth of Jharkhand. He said, “Modi will shatter the corrupt people who are ruining the future of the promising youth of Jharkhand.”

Focus on women empowerment
The Prime Minister said that making life easier for the women of Jharkhand is his priority. He announced the ‘Gogo Didi’ scheme, under which financial assistance will be given directly into the accounts of women after the formation of the Jharkhand BJP government. Also mentioning the Ujjwala scheme, Modi said that soon LPG will be supplied to the homes of Jharkhand through pipeline.
