New Delhi. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from the Gandhi family has reached the Lok Sabha by winning the by-election. On the day of taking oath in the Lok Sabha, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was seen sitting behind with the opposition MPs. Now the seat has been allotted to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the Lok Sabha. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will have to sit on seat number 517 in the Lok Sabha. This seat is in the fourth row on the left hand side of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. At the same time, Priyanka Gandhi’s brother Rahul Gandhi will continue to sit in the first row as the leader of the opposition. Earlier there was news that Congress leaders are trying to somehow bring Priyanka Gandhi to the front seat in the Lok Sabha.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contested parliamentary elections for the first time. She contested the Lok Sabha by-election from Wayanad seat in Kerala. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has won the Lok Sabha by-election in Wayanad by defeating nearest rival CPI’s Satyan Mokeri by a huge margin. Like her brother Rahul Gandhi and many other opposition leaders, Priyanka Gandhi held the Constitution in her hand while taking oath in the Lok Sabha. Congress leaders are also continuously sharing pictures of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from the Parliament complex. Even Uddhav Thackeray group’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has even called Priyanka Gandhi Vadra a lioness and said that now the Modi government will tremble because of her.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also the General Secretary of Congress. Earlier, she looked after the election management in Rae Bareli and Amethi for her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi. However, when Congress made her in-charge of UP, Priyanka Gandhi could not achieve a major victory for the party. However, Congress leaders compare Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s face with that of grandmother and former PM Indira Gandhi. Congress leaders, who cite her grandmother-like nose, believe that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is the Brahmastra of Congress. However, it remains to be seen what kind of performance Priyanka Gandhi Vadra performs in the Lok Sabha and whether she succeeds in cornering the Modi government or not.
