Today is the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari YJP. On this occasion the whole country is paying tribute to him. A special program was also organized in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, India TV Chairman Rajat Sharma and former Uttarakhand CM Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank were present in the program. On this occasion, a statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also unveiled.

On this day in the year 1924, former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born. He was one of the founders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He became the Prime Minister of the country three times. His first tenure in 1996 was for only 13 days. After this, he again became the Prime Minister in 1998 and held this post for 13 months. In the year 1999, he became the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. He was the first non-Congress leader to complete his full term as Prime Minister.
