New Delhi. Former trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar seems to be in new trouble. Delhi Police has said that Pooja Khedkar’s disability certificate is fake. Police has said this in the status report filed in Delhi High Court. According to Delhi Police, Pooja Khedkar submitted fake disability certificate in UPSC Civil Service Examination 2022 and 2023. Pooja Khedkar had also changed her name in her certificate. Pooja Khedkar’s claim of disability certificate being issued from Maharashtra is also wrong.
The disability certificate that Pooja Khedkar had given to UPSC was shown to be issued from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. People with disabilities are allowed to pass the UPSC exam with low marks. Pooja Khedkar is accused of giving a fake disability certificate to get this concession. Delhi Police has said in the status report filed in the High Court that regarding the disability certificate given by Pooja Khedkar, the medical department has said that no such certificates have been issued. That is, the medical authority of Ahmednagar did not issue this disability certificate to Pooja Khedkar. Now Pooja Khedkar may get embroiled in a criminal case in this matter. She may be accused of committing fraud.
Pooja Khedkar has been given relief from arrest by the Delhi High Court. Now, it seems difficult for the High Court to continue the relief as the Delhi Police has said in the status report that the disability certificate is fake. UPSC had already dismissed Pooja Khedkar. Pooja Khedkar has challenged this too in the court. Pooja says that UPSC does not have the right to dismiss her. Pooja Khedkar was a trainee IAS in Pune, Maharashtra. There, she was accused of putting illegal plates on her vehicle and occupying her senior’s room. After which Pooja Khedkar was transferred. After this, she was constantly surrounded in the matter of changing her name and father’s name in the UPSC examination.
