Purification Of Temple With Gangajal After Naseem Solanki’s Jalabhishek: In the temple where Naseem Solanki had performed Jalabhishek, purification was done with Gangajal of Haridwar.

New Delhi. The famous Vankhandeshwar temple of Kanpur has been purified with Ganga water from Haridwar. This is the same temple where Samajwadi Party candidate Naseem Solanki had performed Jalabhishek. The temple premises were purified with Vedic chanting. Controversy has started after Naseem Solanki went to the temple and offered water on Shivalinga. Muslim organizations have also turned against Naseem Solanki for visiting the temple and offering water on Shivalinga. Islamic religious leader Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has issued a fatwa on this. Maulana termed Naseem’s act against Islam and asked him to apologise. On the other hand, after the controversy increased, Naseem has also presented his side.

Some Hindu organizations had also objected to Naseem Solanki offering water on the Shivalinga. Whereas BJP had called it a political stunt. BJP had said that in order to attract Hindu voters in the elections, Naseem Solanki not only went to the temple but also offered water on Shivling there. Let us tell you that by-election is being held in Sisamau assembly in Kanpur. Naseem Solanki’s husband SP leader Irfan Solanki was the MLA from Sisamau seat. Irfan has been sentenced to seven years in prison in a case of land grabbing and arson of a woman. Due to which his MLA lost his seat and now by-elections are being held there.

The Vankhandeshwar temple where Naseem Solanki performed Jalabhishek is located in Sisamau area and is one of the famous Shiva temples of Kanpur. Sisamau assembly is a mixed population area. A large number of mixed population of Hindus and Muslims reside here. Earlier, BJP had absolute rule on Sisamau seat. BJP’s Rakesh Sonkar won elections from here thrice but after his ticket was canceled, this seat was captured by SP.
