Actor Allu Arjun and the producers of the film ‘Pushpa’ on Wednesday announced financial assistance of Rs 2 crore to the family of the woman who lost her life in a stampede that occurred during the screening of the film in a theater on the evening of December 4.
Meanwhile, Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and lead producer Dil Raju said a delegation of film personalities met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday to promote good relations between the government and the film industry. Will meet.
Allu Arjun’s father and producer Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and others went to a private hospital. The boy injured in the stampede is being treated in this hospital.
Doctors told Allu Aravind that the boy’s health is improving and he no longer needs oxygen and ventilator support. After this Arvind heaved a sigh of relief.
Allu Arvind announced that to help the boy’s family, Allu Arjun has donated Rs 1 crore, the production company of the film ‘Pushpa’ Maithri Movie Makers has donated Rs 50 lakh and the film’s director Sukumar has donated Rs 50 lakh.
Arvind handed over the check to Dil Raju and requested him to deliver it to the boy’s family.
He told that due to legal obligations he cannot meet his family directly without permission.
A large number of fans had thronged the Sandhya theater to catch a glimpse of the actor during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on December 4 night. During the same stampede, 35-year-old woman Revati was killed and her eight-year-old son was injured.
Hyderabad Police has registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theater management under sections 105 and 118 (1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint lodged by the woman’s family.
The police had arrested Allu Arjun on December 13 in connection with the woman’s death.
The Telangana High Court granted him four weeks’ interim bail the same day and he was released from jail here on the morning of December 14.
