The social media department of the Congress is constantly being questioned.
New Delhi: It was decided by the Social Media Department of the Congress Party to remove an X post which ‘missing’ the Prime Minister under pressure from the party and high command. However, this is not the first time that the social media department had to remove a post. Even before this, the department has come to remove the content from social media and give clarification. In 2023, the Congress had to remove a post from its official X handle, as it was wrongly quoted by former Congress President and Parliamentary Party leader Sonia Gandhi.
Sonia Gandhi’s speech was also wrongly taken
In fact, on 6 May 2023, his speech in Karnataka was incorrectly quoted and Karnataka was described as ‘sovereign’, later this X post party had to delete and clarify. It was claimed in that X post that Sonia Gandhi said in her speech, ‘The Congress will not allow anyone to poses a threat to karnataka’s’S reputation, Sovereignty or Integrity.’ Later the Congress removed this tweet and clarified that ‘Since this has been erroneously reported – it is being deleted.’
The post on Kangana Ranaut had to be removed
After this, the second mistake of the social media department came to light when a post like ‘Kya Bhava Hai’ was done on social media with a photo of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Kangana Ranaut from Mandi. In this case, the social media department clarified that it is being investigated who did this post, because the department’s in -charge Supriya Srinet said that the password of their social media account is with 2 to 3 people. He said that it would be investigated by whom this post was done.
Congress lags behind in a wrong post and Narativ
In the third and most recent incident, the Congress has now had to remove a poster, in which the Prime Minister was described as ‘missing’. Congress sources believe that this X post caused a lot of damage to the party and she lagged behind in the Narrative party in Pahalgam. According to sources, Congress organization general secretary K.C. The post was removed on the instructions of Venugopal and Communications Department General Secretary Jairam Ramesh. Due to these continuous mistakes, the party’s social media content head Rannvijay Singh and Social Media Department Chairman Supriya Srinet are on target of several leaders.
