On Thursday morning, a female tennis player was shot dead by his father in Sushantlok-2 of Sector-57, Gurugram. Initial investigation has revealed that the father shot in the same back with a licensed revolver due to displeasure over the tennis player running the academy. Radhika Yadav was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared her dead. The police arrested the accused father and produced it in the court today, from where the court has sent the accused on one day police remand.
SHO Inspector Vinod Kumar of Gurugram Sector 56 police station said, “We have got one day remand. How much bullet Vinod had bought with a licensed gun. It is to be recovered and recovered, he has to recover, he has a plot of land in a village near Rewari. The bullet has to be recovered from there.” When SHO Inspector Vinod Kumar was asked whether there is any case of honor killing or love affair in this case? So he said, “There is nothing like that”.

The deceased was identified as state level tennis player Radhika Yadav, who lived with her family in Sushantlok-2, Sector-57. The deceased Radhika used to run a tennis academy and her father (accused) was not happy with running a tennis academy. On Thursday, Radhika Yadav’s father got angry and shot three bullets with his licensed revolver in his back due to a dispute over running a tennis academy with the deceased. After being shot, Radhika’s uncle Kuldeep and cousin took her to a private hospital in a seriously injured condition, where she died.
As soon as the information about shooting the tennis player was received, the police teams of Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Sector-56 police station, FSL, Scene of Crime and Fingerprint reached the spot. The house where the bullet was shot, the police collected evidence there. The dead body of the deceased was taken into possession. Police investigation revealed that Radhika had stopped playing tennis due to a shoulder injury a few months ago. Radhika then started the academy to teach tennis to children in Wazirabad village, but Radhika’s father Deepak was against opening the academy. Radhika has also won several medals in tennis game.
Radhika’s father was angry after opening the academy. He said that when he ever leaves in the village, the villagers call him the daughter’s earnings. Father Deepak was very upset about this matter. For the last 15 days, there was a fight between father and daughter over the tennis academy.
