The Central Bureau of Investigation has achieved great success. The CBI has exposed a gang preparing to copy a railway examination in a raid operation last night. The CBI said that during a campaign conducted on the midnight of 3 and 4 March 2025, the departmental examination paper leak scam under East Central Railway at Mughal Sarai was detected and busted.

Paper found with 17 candidates

So far a case has been registered against a senior DEE (ops) and 8 other railway officials and unknown candidates and unknown others in this case. Let us know that on March 4, 2025, East Central Railway was to conduct departmental examination for the posts of Chief Loco Inspector. With this, the CBI raided 3 places last night in Mughalsarai. During the investigation, the CBI received photocopies of hand -written question papers from a total of 17 candidates and these paper match with the original paper.

How did the paper reach the paper?

The CBI said that in the investigation conducted so far, it was found that the accused Senior DEE (Ops) was given the responsibility of preparing the paper for the said examination. He wrote papers in English with his hand and allegedly gave it to a loco pilot, which translated it in Hindi and gave it to an OS (training).

The CBI further stated that the OS (training) allegedly gave it to the candidates through some other railway employees. After this, the CBI has arrested Senior DEE (Ops) and other railway employees accused for taking money and circulating paper.

26 people arrested so far

The CBI said that 17 departmental candidates had allegedly paid for the paper, all of them are currently working as a loco pilot. The CBI has caught all these red -handed with copies of paper on the night of 3 and 4 March. At the same time, a total of 26 railway officials have been arrested by the CBI in this case so far.

1.17 crore cash also recovered

In addition, the CBI has raided 8 places, as a result of which the investigating agency has also recovered cash of Rs 1.17 crore. It was reported that this money was allegedly recovered from candidates to leak paper. CBI investigation is still going on in the case.
