Millions of jewelery and cash recovered.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 3 accused, including a senior DEE and one SEE from Northern Railway, DRM office, New Delhi in connection with a bribery transaction of Rs 7 lakh. It also includes another person who has been arrested. They are alleged to have demanded a bribe to benefit the said private railway vendor’s private company and its family of the said private railway vendor and accepted it. During the search, the CBI also recovered Rs 63.85 lakh cash, gold rods and jewelery etc.
Jewelery worth crores recovered
In fact, the CBI has arrested a senior DEE and a SEE and a private vendor of Northern Railway in connection with a bribe transaction of Rs 7 lakh. During the search, 63.85 lakh rupees cash, gold rods and jewelery etc. were recovered from them. It is alleged that railway officials demanded a bribe to benefit the said private railway vendor to benefit the private company and its family in Delhi.
Case filed against seven accused
In this case, the CBI had registered a case against seven accused. It included a senior DEE of the DRM office of Northern Railway, New Delhi, Director of a private company based in Ghaziabad, private company in Ghaziabad, a private railway vendor of the company in Delhi, private company based in Delhi and other unknown. It was alleged that the accused were involved in corrupt and illegal activities in the case of ordering the work of various private institutions and approving the bills.

4. Messrs Vatsal Infotech Private Limited, Delhi’s Gautam Chawla (arrested)
5. Messrs Vatsal Infotech Private Limited, Delhi
6. Saket Kumar, Director, Messrs Shivamani Enterprises Private Limited
7. Messrs Shivamani Enterprises Private Limited, Ghaziabad
Raids on many locations
The CBI searched 9 places in the residential and official premises of the accused public servant. During this period, details were recovered from Rs 63.85 lakh cash, gold jewelery worth Rs 96.26 lakh (about), documents related to assets, mobiles, laptops/hard disks and details of bribing to public servants by private persons. At the same time, in the search of the locker of the wife of the second accused Senior DEE, more than Rs 2.5 crore and jewelery and gold rods were recovered.
