Due to cyclonic storm Dana, there has been a significant change in the weather in many parts of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for many districts including West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Heavy rains are still occurring in many districts of West Bengal and Odisha today. Life is disrupted due to heavy rains.

Rain alert in these districts of UP and Bihar

Meteorological Department said that there may be light rain in Prayagraj, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. There is a possibility of rain in 18 districts of Bihar including Jamui, Lakhisarai, Nawada, Begusarai, Khagaria, Katihar, Purnia, Kishanganj.

Know how the weather of Delhi will be

The minimum temperature in the national capital Delhi on Saturday is likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature can reach 33 degrees Celsius. The mercury is likely to remain around 21 degrees Celsius throughout the day, while the wind speed will be around 3.14.

The Meteorological Department said that the wind in Delhi will be around 9 degrees and the wind speed will be 4.23. Sunrise time in Delhi is 06:29 AM, while the sun will set at 05:41 PM on Saturday.

Slight improvement in air pollution

There has been a slight improvement in Delhi’s air pollution after the last several days. The air quality around India Gate has improved. AQI level in Delhi reached 237 on Saturday. It has been placed in the ‘poor’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Pollution in only two areas in Delhi is in the worst category. Anand Vihar and Mundka and everywhere else have AQI below 200. The AQI level in Lodhi Road, Chandni Chowk is around 150.

Know the weather of Delhi for the next seven days

According to the seven-day weather forecast, the maximum temperature in Delhi will be 33 degrees Celsius on Saturday, 34 degrees Celsius on Sunday, 34 degrees Celsius on Monday, 35 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 36 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, 37 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 37 degrees Celsius on Friday. It is likely to reach 36 degrees Celsius.

Average AQI recorded yesterday was 270

The level of pollution has increased in different areas of Delhi. According to Central Pollution Control Board data, the 24-hour average AQI was recorded at 270 till 4 pm on Friday, while it was 306 on Thursday. However, Delhi is still the second most polluted city in the country, behind Hanumangarh in Rajasthan. The 24-hour average AQI recorded in Hanumangarh was 277.
