Three people died due to sudden floods in Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh on Monday night, more than 20 vehicles were buried in debris and many houses were flooded. Officials gave this information on Tuesday.
The rain was so strong that the debris flowed in a huge amount of debris with a strong current in the drains passing through the city spread to the area of about five kilometers. Due to this, the areas of Jail Road, Saini Mohalla and Zonal Hospital were the most affected.
After the strong rains, debris flooded in the major areas of Mandi city. Debris has arrived in the jail road and on the zonal hospital route. Debris reached near the houses in Sain area, forcing people to leave the house and flee.
People escaped and saved their lives
Many people were present at the scene at the time of destruction. As soon as he saw debris falling, he ran around to save his life. Some people took refuge in shops and homes. Local residents say that this scene was very frightening and in a few moments the entire area got flooded with debris.
Information about some people being buried in jail road
Many people are reported to be buried in the rubble on the jail road. The administration has not confirmed this at the moment but the rescue work is going on fast on the basis of apprehension. JCB and relief teams have reached the spot.

Teams of administration, police, fire brigade are present on the spot and rescue operation is going on in the affected areas. Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Devgan said that the affected families are being sent to safe places.
