Special conversation with Himant Vishwa Sharma.
Ranchi: The stir regarding assembly elections has intensified in Jharkhand. Between the two phases of elections, the first phase of elections has been completed, while all eyes are on the second phase. Meanwhile, Assam CM and BJP leader Himanta Vishwa Sharma had a special conversation with India TV. Regarding Jharkhand elections, he said that our feedback is good. He said that NDA government will be formed easily in Jharkhand. He further said that we are doing well in Santhal Pargana also. Apart from this, our party is also doing well in Mandu, Ramgarh and Khijri. We are performing well in both the first and second phases.
Infiltration is the country’s issue
Jharkhand’s ruling JMM chief and CM Hemant Soren also raised questions on the issue of Bangladeshi infiltration in Assam. Speaking on this, Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that everyone makes allegations in elections, the issue of infiltrators is a national issue, there should be no differences on this. He said that there is no scope for allegations in the infiltration case. This is a national issue, there is no place for any debate in it.
It is our responsibility to drive out infiltrators
On the allegation of infiltration in Assam, Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that we raise this issue every day. Early this morning 8 infiltrators have been expelled from my state. He said that instead of saying good morning, I only tweet that how many infiltrators were expelled from my state today. Further, Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that infiltrators entered Jharkhand since 1951, since then only Congress was in power. If intruders have come, it is our responsibility to drive them out. Till now the figures of infiltrators have come out only on the basis of 2011 census, till 2011 only Congress was in power.
We created Jharkhand, you are ruining it
On JMM and Congress continuously alleging that BJP does not share its achievements, Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that BJP created Jharkhand state without any controversy, what could be a bigger achievement than this. We formed the Assembly in Jharkhand, built the High Court, built the infrastructure here, what other achievements do they want? Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that you should tell your achievements. He further said that we created Jharkhand, but you are ruining it.
