New Delhi. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has once again shown the old attitude towards non -marrathi speakers. He warned the people of other states living in Maharashtra and said that if the people living in the state refuse to speak Marathi, the MNS will not back down from ‘slapping’ them. Addressing the MNS party’s annual Gudi Padwa rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Sunday, Thackeray said, “Every state has its own language and should be respected.” Marathi should be honored in Mumbai. Thackeray told his workers, check every bank, every establishment whether Marathi is being used there or not. All of you should stand firmly for Marathi.
Giving the example of the ongoing Hindi opposition in Tamil Nadu, Thackeray said that Tamil Nadu dared to deny Hindi even Kerala. On the dispute over Aurangzeb’s tomb, Raj Thackeray said that the grave of the people defeated by the Marathas should not be destroyed. The world should know that we had buried them. History of 400 years old should not become a matter of controversy in today’s era. The MNS chief criticized the Fadnavis government on the ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’. He said that the government does not have money, so this scheme will be closed soon.
