The elder brother of Raja Raghuvanshi, a transport businessman of Indore, who was killed during a honeymoon in Meghalaya, demanded on Monday that Sonam, the main accused in the case, should be done with a narco test of his entire family.
Five people, including his wife Sonam (25) and his alleged lover Raj Kushwaha (20), have been arrested for involvement in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi (29). Raghuvanshi went missing on May 23 during a honeymoon in Meghalaya and is believed to be murdered on this date.
Three other accused arrested in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case-Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi were initially suspected of being a ‘mercenary killers’, but later the Meghalaya police came to know that they were friends of Kushwaha. The five accused of this murder, which became the subject of discussion across the country, are currently in custody of Meghalaya Police.
During his thirteenth rituals of King Raghuvanshi in Indore, his elder brother Vipin Raghuvanshi told reporters, “We want Sonam to have a narco test of Sonam as well as his parents, his brother Govind and his sister-in-law.”
He said, “New videos related to the incident of the murder of my younger brother are coming out in a series of incidents. In such a situation, we feel that more people are involved in the king’s murder.
Vipin said that people posing new videos related to the developments on social media should be strictly asked why he had not made these videos public till now?
He expressed satisfaction over the investigation of the Meghalaya Police in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. The elder brother of King Raghuvanshi said, “Our family is satisfied with the investigation of the Meghalaya Police.”
Meanwhile, Govind, brother of Sonam, the main accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, attended the thirteenth ceremony of this transport businessman in Indore. However, the king’s family said that Govind was not called for this ritual.
Govind said during the thirteenth ritual, “I have come here to apologize. If a person suspects us, then we are saying ourselves that we should be investigated. We are with the family of King Raghuvanshi. ”
Sonam’s brother Govind also attended the ritual of King Raghuvanshi’s Pindadan in Ujjain on 13 June. However, King Raghuvanshi’s family is slowly distance from Govind and the family’s tussle is clearly visible.
Another elder brother of King Raghuvanshi, Sachin said, “I did not talk to Govind during the thirteenth ritual. He must have come to show sympathy. We did not call him. ”
The food prepared during the thirteenth ritual of King Raghuvanshi included Gulab Jamun and other dishes that this transport businessman loved. Raghuvanshi’s family as well as close relatives attended this ritual.
The body of King Raghuvanshi was found on June 2 in a deep ditch near a waterfall in the Sohra area of East Khasi Hills district (also known as Cherrapunji).King Raghuvanshi’s family is associated with transport business. He was married to Sonam on 11 May in Indore and he left for Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 20 May.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police is investigating the case of murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in detail.
