Gwalior. The Meghalaya Police has now arrested a person named Lokendra Tomar in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case of Indore. Lokendra Tomar’s name has appeared in a mobile chat of property dealer Silome James. Lokendra Tomar is accused that he erased the evidence after the murder of King Raghuvanshi. Meghalaya Police says that Lokendra Tomar had asked Silom James to destroy the evidence. It was only after he said that Silom James burnt the bag of Sonam, wife of King Raghuvanshi. It is being told that Sonam Raghuvanshi’s bag contained a pistol, 5 lakh rupees and King Raghuvanshi’s jewelry. Meghalaya Police has recovered parts of the burnt bag.
Meghalaya Police had earlier also arrested property dealer Silom James in the King Raghuvanshi murder case.
Lokendra Tomar is being told that he reached Gwalior from Indore on Monday evening. On receiving the information, Meghalaya Police reached Gwalior and arrested Lokendra Tomar. King Raghuvanshi was killed in May. On June 2, the body of King Raghuvanshi was found in a ditch in Meghalaya. The king’s wife Sonam was missing then. It is alleged that Vishal, who killed Raja Raghuvanshi, rented a flat from Silom James and after killing Raja, Sonam came to Indore and hid in this flat. Then she went to Varanasi from Indore and reached Ghazipur in UP by government bus there. Sonam reached a dhaba in Ghazipur and called her brother Govind Raghuvanshi. After which Govind informed the Indore police and after getting the information from there, the Ghazipur police took Sonam into custody and handed over to the Meghalaya Police.
Sonam, wife of Raja Raghuvanshi and her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha, have already been arrested.
The Meghalaya Police alleges that Sonam had a love affair with Raj Kushwaha, who works in her father’s factory. For this reason, Raj Kushwaha and Sonam conspired to kill Raja Raghuvanshi. Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi went to Meghalaya for honeymoon. According to the police, Raj Kushwaha sent Vishal, Anand and another to Meghalaya to kill King Raghuvanshi. Where the three killed King Raghuvanshi in front of Sonam and pushed the body into a deep ditch. After this, Sonam and Raja’s phone was coming to switched off. Sonam claimed that he was abducted after his arrest, but the Meghalaya Police arrested the wife of King Raghuvanshi on the basis of electronic evidence. The Meghalaya Police has so far arrested 7 accused in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi.
