Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam, residents of Indore, were married on 11 May. On May 20, 9 days after the wedding, King Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi went to Meghalaya for honeymoon. Both had booked the hotel there. King Raghuvanshi and Sonam went out to visit and both were not detected since then. The body of King Raghuvanshi was found on June 2 in a ditch near Weisavadang waterfall in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. The body was identified with a tattoo written by the king. Sonam’s jacket was also found with the body of King Raghuvanshi. Which had blood spots. Sonam was missing since then. It was believed that King Raghuvanshi was killed and the attackers took Sonam along. The Meghalaya Police was constantly searching for Sonam and the attackers. At the same time, the brother of King Raghuvanshi claimed that in a CCTV footage, a man with Raja and Sonam had a man.
