New Delhi. A chartered plane carrying Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal survived. It happened that the aircraft was to land somewhere else but the pilot accidentally removed it on another runway. However, as soon as the pilot realized his mistake, he immediately took off and made the aircraft landing at the right place. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started investigating the incident and currently both pilots of the aircraft have been removed from the responsibility of any flight. The incident took place on 31 July.
The Rajasthan CM was going from Delhi to Phalodi on Thursday, riding in Falcon 2000 plane. The aircraft was to be landing at Phalodi Air Force Station, but the pilots took off the aircraft at the civil airstrip of Phalodi city. The pilots immediately improved their mistake and flew the ship and launched the ship at Phalodi Air Force Station, which was about 5 km from there. The charter company itself informed the DGCA about this. It is being told that Phalodi’s Air Force Station and Civil Havai Patti are almost the same as the direction, visual characteristics and geographical of the runway of Aerustrip and for this reason the pilots were confused.
It is also being told that before the take off in Delhi, the pilots of the aircraft were not given proper information about both the airfields of Phalodi. When the Chief Minister’s aircraft entered the Phalodi civil airstrip, if there was another aircraft there, there could have been a big accident. However, nothing like this happened. The Chief Minister returned to Jaipur from the same aircraft from Phalodi and after leaving the CM, the plane came to Delhi. DGCA investigation is on.
