Five people, including a woman, were killed and eight others were injured in a horrific road accident near Jaipur on Wednesday morning. Police gave this information. The dead include a newly married bride.
Raisar police officer Raghuveer Singh said that the accident occurred on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway near Bhatabas village in Raisar area at around 6.15 am when a truck and jeep collided face to face.
According to the information, the bride and groom were returning after the wedding ceremony from Madhya Pradesh with their families and relatives. Then the container coming from the front of his car collapsed strongly. The collision was so terrible that the car flew away and the people riding in it shouted.
After the accident, there was chaos on the spot and there was a long jam on the highway. As soon as the information was received, Raisar police station reached the spot immediately and relief and rescue work was started. A total of 14-15 people were aboard the car. Four people, including the bride and groom, died on the spot in the accident, while another seriously injured person died during treatment at Nims Hospital.
