This year, on the day of Diwali, the atmosphere on the India-China border will be slightly changed. Patrolling between the two countries will resume after four and a half years on the Line of Actual Control. The gathering of troops on the border will also reduce because after the peace agreement on the border, the Indian and Chinese armies have started retreating on the LAC. There was a meeting of local army commanders of India and China on Tuesday, after which the process of withdrawal of armies from both sides started from 23 October. First of all, both the armies removed their tents each in Depsang and Demchok, the temporary structures built on the LAC were demolished on Thursday. From Friday morning, Indian and Chinese troops started retreating from LAC.
In Demchok, Indian Army soldiers retreated westwards from the Charding drain, while the Chinese army is retreating towards the east from this drain. In Demchok, both the countries had built about a dozen temporary structures for their soldiers, they are being demolished. In Depsang, the Chinese Army had deployed its soldiers by placing tarpaulins between the vehicles. The Chinese Army has withdrawn some of its vehicles. Both the countries have reduced the deployment of troops in Depsang and Demchok by about 50 percent. The disengagement process is expected to be completed by October 28-29. After this, soldiers of India and China will patrol their respective areas.
Before this, both India and China will verify the withdrawal of each other’s troops on the ground. That is, we will go to the spot and see whether the soldiers have actually retreated or not, whether the vehicles have been removed or not, and whether the temporary structures have been demolished or not. A video of the disengagement will also be made from the drone so that the commanders of both the countries can review the entire process. Local commanders of both the armies will talk to each other twice a day. Then there will be talks at Corps Commander level. Two days ago, during the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, there was a conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping and both the leaders asked the special representatives of their respective countries to meet soon and hold talks to resolve the 62-year-old border dispute. Was told.
India’s special representative is Ajit Doval, while China’s special representative is its Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Till last week, no one could have imagined that this time on Diwali, our soldiers and officers would patrol the Chinese border like before. Our brave soldiers will celebrate Diwali without any tension on the Chinese border. In the last two years, Narendra Modi has been criticized a lot on the issue of China. It was said that Modi is afraid of China, China occupied our land, Modi surrendered to China. Modi did not answer any such thing. He didn’t get excited. Modi kept working quietly, used diplomacy, also showed military strength. Neither be afraid of China, nor bow down to China.
I also think that Modi might have taken advantage of his friendship with Putin to improve relations with China. It also suits Putin that India and China should stay together and be seen standing with Russia, only then he can claim to be a big power in front of America. Now the eyes of those who talk about China’s red eye will turn red. If relations between China and India improve, it will be very difficult for Rahul. They will realize that instead of listening to Modi’s words, they believed China’s claims. Today the agreement with China is being discussed all over the world as to how the two big powers of Asia resolved their mutual dispute through dialogue. This could set an example towards ending the ongoing wars in Europe and the Middle East. (Rajat Sharma)
