Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recently said in a public meeting that India had restrained during ‘Operation Sindoor’, but if necessary, could have done four pieces of Pakistan. He said, “If the Indian Navy had come into full force, Pakistan would have been four pieces.”
Rajnath Singh also said that during ‘Operation Sindoor’, India successfully targeted terrorist bases and military bases, but did not deliberately harm. He said, “We could have done much more, but we showed the balance of strength and restraint.”
He also said that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) is an integral part of India and the people there will voluntarily join India. He said, “POK people are our own, and one day they will return to the mainstream of India.”
Rajnath Singh also appreciated the ‘Make in India’ initiative and said that indigenous weapons systems played an important role in the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’. He said, “If we do not have this capacity, our forces would not have been able to take such effective action against terrorism.”
He also said that in future, any conversation with Pakistan will be held only on terrorism and POK issues. “We have again defined our strategy and response with Pakistan,” he said.
It is clear from Rajnath Singh’s statements that India is now ready to take a tough stand against terrorism and will not hesitate to use its military capabilities.
