Gurmeet Ram Rahim got parole.
Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has once again got parole. Ram Rahim’s parole for 20 days has been approved before voting in Haryana. The condition of parole is that Ram Rahim will remain out of Haryana during this period. However, just before the elections, questions are being raised once again on the parole granted to Ram Rahim.
Out of jail for the 10th time in 4 years
Rameet Ram Rahim Singh is serving life imprisonment in the case of rape of Sadhvis and murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati. Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim is out on parole once again. However, it is a coincidence or an experiment that Baba Ram Rahim got parole just a few days before the Haryana elections. Baba Ram Rahim has come out of jail ten times in October 2020 only till September 2024. Appeared for the third time in the last nine months. Ram Rahim is out on parole once again.
Parole continued during elections
Call it a coincidence that Baba Ram Rahim has come out of jail 10 times so far, out of which six times were during elections in Haryana. Got parole for 21 days on 7-8 February. Assembly elections were held in Punjab on 26 February. Then he got parole for 30 days on 17th June and then Haryana Municipal Corporation elections were held on 19th February. After that, he got parole for 40 days on October 15, when by-elections were held on Adampur seat. Nevertheless, he got parole for 30 days in July, then on August 13, Panchayat elections were held in three districts of Haryana. Parole was granted on 21 November and assembly elections were held in Rajasthan on 25 November. And now once again Ram Rahim is out on parole on October 2 when Haryana Assembly elections are on October 5.
Congress protested
However, this time Haryana Congress has written a letter to the Election Commission opposing the parole granted to Baba Ram Rahim, but today when the leaders of the country’s Congress were asked about it, they were seen postponing the answer. Even though Haryana Congress has written a letter to the Election Commission and lodged a complaint against it, they are not ready to speak openly on it because the political parties know that if they oppose it openly, they may have to suffer the consequences in the elections.
