New Delhi. The Delhi High Court has reprimanded him in the case of yoga guru Ramdev’s syrup jihad comment on Hamdard’s Ruh Afja. The court said that Ramdev is not under anyone’s control, he lives in his own world. Justice Amit Bansal directed Ramdev to appear in the court. It has also said to issue contempt notice against Ramdev. In fact, the court found that Ramdev has prima facie his previous order. Ramdev has again published a video with objectionable comments against Hamdard’s Ruh Afja product.
Earlier, the court had given strict instructions to Ramdev that he would not release any statement or advertisement or social media posts in future to object to Hamdard. On this, the judge said that in view of the previous order, the affidavit of Ramdev and this video falls under the first sight of contempt. I will now issue contempt notice. Senior advocate Rajiv Nair, appearing for Ramdev and Patanjali, told the court that the objectionable part of the video related to Ruh Afja would be removed from all social media platforms within 24 hours. Along with this, the application demanding interim prohibition of sympathizer was listed for yesterday i.e. Friday.
In the last hearing, his lawyer on behalf of Ramdev had said that all advertisements and videos against the Roh Afja product of Hamdard National Foundation India would be removed. Please tell that Ramdev propagated his company Patanjali’s rose syrup and said that if you buy the spirit of sympathizer, then that money will be used to build a madrasa and mosque. He described it as syrup jihad. At the same time, Ramdev had said that if you buy Patanjali’s syrup, then the hospital, school etc. will be constructed with his money.
