New Delhi. There is tremendous anger among Hindus after animal fat and fish oil was found in the prasad laddu of Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. The situation is such that now doubts have started arising about the prasad available in other temples as well, whether the prasad available at other places is also being made by mixing adulterated ghee and other things like this. A similar doubt arose in the mind of former President Ramnath Kovind. Which he mentioned. Addressing a program in Varanasi, former President Ramnath Kovind said, my colleagues gave me Kashi Vishwanath’s prasad at night, which reminded me of Tirumala Prasad. This can be the story of every temple. This adulteration has been called a sin in Hindu scriptures. This is a matter worth thinking about.

On the other hand, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati demanded that those who adulterate the Prasad should be hanged publicly. He said that those who tamper with Sanatan culture should be given such a punishment which has never been given before and should set an example so that in future no one can tamper with the faith of Hindus.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh government minister Nara Lokesh said that the lab report clearly states that things like animal fat and fish oil have been used in making Prasadam. Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is serious about this matter. No one guilty in this will be spared. We will not leave this matter to the CBI investigation only, further steps will have to be taken so that it can be known who all are involved in this. We have to put a ‘full stop’ on this serious issue.
