New Delhi. A 40 years reunion ceremony of Indian Police Service officers of 1984 batch was held at Chandigarh Golf Club on Friday. The occasion was graced by the Honorable Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria as a special guest from Raj Bhavan. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria met the retired IPS officers and their families and appreciated the remarkable work done by them over the decades.
A total of 30 officers participated in the ceremony. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria thanked the officers for their contribution in serving the country and urged them to continue their services in any form. He said that serving the country as a responsible citizen even after retirement is a big responsibility. The reunion gave the officers a chance to reminisce about their old days and share their experiences.
