Schemes are run by the government to help the farmers so that if at any time they are facing difficulties in farming, they can get financial help. Important steps have been taken by the government in this area so that farmers do not have to face any kind of problem. There is one such scheme with the help of which farmers are being helped and the name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is provided every year.
It has been told that with the help of this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 6000 is provided to the farmers every year. This amount is provided to the farmers in three installments. An amount of Rs 2 thousand is transferred to the farmers’ accounts through DBT. The 18th installment has been released by the Prime Minister on October 5 in Washim district of Maharashtra.
Now the farmers are waiting for the 19th installment to be received under this scheme. It is believed that the government can release the next installment under this scheme by February. The benefit of this scheme is given to those farmers who have 2 hectares or less of land for farming.
