Indore. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that some forces wanted that the temple of Lord Ram should not be built on his birthplace in Ayodhya. Mohan Bhagwat said that this is why the Ayodhya movement went on for a long time. RSS chief Bhagwat suggested to Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, at the National Devi Ahilya Award ceremony that the day of consecration of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya should be celebrated as ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’. Because on this day the true independence of India, which had been facing enemy attacks for many centuries, was established.
Mohan Bhagwat said that foreign invaders destroyed the temples of India. So that the soul of this country dies. The RSS chief said that the Ram temple movement was not launched to oppose any person or create controversy. He said that the Ram Mandir movement happened to awaken India’s self. So that the country stands on its own feet and can show the way to the world. Mohan Bhagwat said that India got political independence in 1947. A written constitution was made according to the country’s wishes, but it did not follow the vision of that time. The RSS chief said that there will be no quarrel in the country on the occasion of Ramlala’s consecration in 2024. Everyone witnessed the consecration of life with a pure heart.
This is the first time such a statement has come from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. In which he has expressed his opinion about the Ram Mandir movement, India’s independence and the Constitution. Mohan Bhagwat had earlier come under criticism by giving the statement that it is not right to create temple-mosque controversy everywhere. He had said that by raising such controversies some people want to make themselves leaders of Hindus and this is unacceptable. Earlier, the RSS chief had many times asked all the sects in the country to live together in harmony. He has also met many Muslim religious leaders.
