New Delhi. The Calcutta High Court has given permission to the public meeting to be held in the Bardhaman of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The High Court ruled in favor of the union, dismissing the petition of the West Bengal government. However, the Sangh will also have to accept some conditions imposed by the High Court for the public meeting. Let us tell you that this public meeting of the Sangh to be held in Bardhaman, West Bengal on Sunday, 16 February, was refused by the police. After which the Sangh filed an application in the Calcutta High Court. The West Bengal Police cited the board examinations behind not allowing the union’s public meeting.
The administration had said that the 10th examinations of the Bengal Board of Secondary Education are going on, in such a situation, the noise of the rally will cause trouble to the students. There is a ban on the use of loudspeakers. However, the bench of Kolkata High Court Judge Amrita Sinha has directed the Sangh to keep the loud speaker slow, granting permission for public meeting. The judge has said that the rally is to be held on Sunday, so due to this there will be no disturbance in the examination. At the same time, the court has also directed the union to limit the number of crowds present in the public meeting and maintain law and order.
Let us tell you that Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat is on a tour of West Bengal since February 6. Sangh chief Bhagwat was to have a public meeting in Bardhaman on 16 February, which was not allowed by the police, due to which the Sangh had to knock on the door of the High Court from where it got permission for the public meeting. At the same time, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has also inaugurated the new province office of the Sangh in Bardhaman on 14 February.
