That is, if you use the National Highway or Expressway for daily office or any small journey, then you will not have to pay up to 20 km.
🔁 Pilot Project and Start with Fastag
The government has already started a pilot project of this system on some national highway, which is being tested for its accuracy and effectiveness. This technique will currently work closely with the Fastag system, so that the old system can be gradually removed.
💸 How will the payment be?
Each vehicle will have an on-Board Unit (OBU) or tracking device.
When the vehicle runs on the highway, the obu will track how much distance was covered.
