Mumbai The person who carried out the fatal attack on actor Saif Ali Khan has finally been arrested. He told many of his names to the police. He told his name as BJ. Then Saif Ali Khan’s attacker also revealed his name as Vijay Das, Mohammad Ilyas and Mohammad Aliyan. According to Mumbai Police, his real name is Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad. The information is that Saif Ali Khan’s attacker has not found Aadhaar card or any such document with which his name or address can be verified. However, he is calling himself a resident of West Bengal. Mumbai Police is going to get his remand and get his statement verified. Mumbai Police suspects that Saif Ali Khan’s attacker may also be a Bangladeshi citizen.

Saif Ali Khan’s attacker was caught by teams of Mumbai and Thane police while he was sleeping in a bush in the labor colony of the metro station construction site near Hiranandani Estate in Thane. He has previously worked as housekeeping in a pub. This pub is in Thane only. Earlier, several CCTV footages of the attacker were found. In these, he was seen with a dark colored T-shirt and a scarf before and after the attack. Later, CCTV footage of him wearing a yellow and blue T-shirt was obtained by Mumbai Police. The accused of attack on Saif had also gone to Bandra and Dadar in Mumbai before reaching Thane. He also bought earphones from a shop.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife by the attacker at around 2.30 am on January 16, 2025. A 2.5 inch piece of the knife was left broken near Saif’s spine. Which the doctors had removed through surgery. Saif also had a knife on his neck and hand. The driver of the auto in which Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital had told that the actor was drenched in blood. Saif’s female employee had told that the attacker was demanding Rs 1 crore.
