SAKET COURT DELHI: Bloody clash between prisoners inside the lockup in Saket court, one death, bloody clash between prisoners inside the lockup in Saket court, one dead

New Delhi. There was a bloody clash among the prisoners in Delhi’s Saket court. Two prisoners Jitendra and Jaydev, who were locked in court lockup, together killed the third prisoner Aman. According to Delhi Police, there was an old enmity between Jitendra and Aman about something. In 2024, there was a fight between the two when both of them were outside the jail. Aman allegedly attacked Jitendra and his brother with a knife. Both the accused were lodged in Tihar Jail No. 8 and were brought to Saket Court for appearance. The police are currently under investigation into the entire case and both the attackers are being questioned.

The deceased prisoner Aman was a resident of Govindpuri, Delhi. Other people present there were scared after seeing this bloody incident inside the court lockup. Police said that after bringing Tihar from jail, the three prisoners were closed in the same barrack of Saket court. Jitendra and Jaydev attacked Aman here and attacked him. The police immediately opened the lockup and evacuated the prisoner Aman from there and rushed him to the hospital, where the doctors declared Aman dead. The body of the deceased prisoner has been sent for postmortem.

However, this is not the first case when there is bloodshed in Saket court. Earlier in April 2023, a woman was shot dead by a lawyer named Kameshwar Singh. This case was in the news for several days. Kameshwar was suspended in a separate case by the Bar Council. After this incident, the security system started to be questioned in Saket Court. Now when there was a bloody clash between the prisoners in the lockup of the court, then questions are being raised on the police again.
