The BJP leader alleges that Sam Pitroda has illegally occupied 12.35 acres of forest department in Yalanka area of ​​Bangalore. Which costs around 150 crores. According to BJP leader Ramesh, this land of Karnataka Forest Department has been occupied by Sam Pitroda since 1991.

The BJP leader has said in a complaint to Karnataka Lokayukta and ED that Sam Pitroda had leased the land of the forest department for research, but did not re -achieve the lease in 2011. At the same time, he has also accused Sam Pitroda of earning profit from this land. The complaint states that Pitroda continued to use it in the work of making medicine even after the lease of the land of the forest department. Due to which 5 to 6 crore rupees were also earned every year. In addition to Pitroda, the BJP leader of Karnataka has also named Names of Javed Akhtar, RK Singh, Sanjay Mohan, N, Rabindran Kumar and SS Ravi Shankar in the complaint besides Pitroda.

The complaint states that Satyanarayana Gangaram Pitroda i.e. Sam Pitroda formed the Foundation for Revitalization of Local Health Tradition in Mumbai in 1991. In the name of this institution, the land of the forest department took the land in Jarakabande Kawal in Yalanka. Pitroda had told the Karnataka Forest Department that he would protect and research herbs here. The Karnataka Forest Department gave Sam Pitroda land on a 5 -year lease. The lease was approved by the Karnataka Forest Department as well as the Union Environment and Forest Ministry. In 2001, the lease was again extended for 10 years and it ended in December 2011. In such a situation, the complaint of illegal land in the possession of Sam Pitroda has been said in the complaint. Also, commercial work has also been accused here. The BJP leader has said that after the lease was over, the Karnataka government tried to withdraw the land, but Sam Pitroda did not allow action due to political influence.
