Samastipur Blast: Major accident due to boiler explosion in Samastipur aluminum factory, one dead, eight injured

New Delhi. A major accident occurred due to boiler explosion in an aluminum factory in Samastipur district of Bihar. This incident took place in Vaini police station area, where one worker died in the explosion in the factory, while eight workers were seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Part of factory turned into debris

After the incident, the condition of the factory became quite frightening. The explosion reduced the walls of the factory to debris. A video of the devastation at the incident site has also surfaced, in which people can be seen buried amidst the debris. For relief work, police and administration immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

After the boiler explosion, there was chaos among the workers working in the factory. As soon as information about the incident was received, people nearby also reached out to help. The administration rapidly continued the work of evacuating the people trapped in the factory. So far, the death of one laborer and injuries to eight people have been confirmed.

Earlier in December 2021, seven people were killed and seven others were injured in a boiler explosion in a factory in Muzaffarpur district. At that time, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

Administrative officials say that it is very important to adopt strict industrial safety standards to prevent such accidents. At present, the injured workers are undergoing treatment and the matter is being investigated.
